Originally from the UK, Alex moved to Australia in 1999 after spending two years living and working in Hong Kong where he worked on a variety of construction projects including the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Initially settling in Sydney, Alex worked, contracting, as a dry plasterer in both the residential and commercial construction sectors before concentrating on residential carpentry from around 2010.

Outside of work Alex enjoys keeping fit, hanging out with friends and family, getting to the beach and attempting to train his sometimes recalcitrant dog, Tilly.

Based in Maroochy River, Sunshine Coast Creative Carpentry are your local carpentry specialists, servicing the Sunshine Coast and Noosa District. We pride ourselves on fine workmanship with attention to detail, coupled with a high level of communication and reliability we strive to provide complete customer satisfaction.

With 25 years experience in both the residential and commercial construction sectors we offer the following carpentry services:

All new carpentry projects as well as repairs and alterations to existing structures. Decks; pergolas; screens and shutters; window and door installation - both timber and aluminium. Internal fix-out: doors and door hardware; skirting; architraves; panelling and linings; flooring and any other aspects of internal fix-out that maybe required. Installation, removal or repositioning of partition walls including any and all plastering involved in the process.

All aspects of structural framing and finishing of walls and ceilings. Roof framing and truss installation. Floor and sub-floor installation and framing including FC sheet in wet areas. All types of external cladding. Minor concreting works. Please note that Alex is also a licensed dry plasterer and will finish any associated plastering to an exceptional standard.
